Four things make up what you actually pay. Only two of them are on our list.
1. The blank balloon
The headline price is the balloon itself, undecorated. A 13-foot blimp is $975 blank.
Plenty of customers buy blank, particularly for events where the balloon marks a place rather than carrying a name.
2. Lettering
A separate charge that scales with print area, so it varies by size. On a 13-foot blimp it is $537, making a lettered 13-footer $1,512.
We quote it separately rather than folding it in, because a single all-in number hides which half you are paying for. It also makes comparing quotes possible.
3. Shipping
Not included. UPS Ground from our factory in North Carolina, two to five business days anywhere in the continental United States.
Shipping is quoted with your order because it depends on size and destination. A 30-foot blimp does not ship for the same money as a 4.5-foot sphere.
4. Helium, which you buy locally
Not from us. About $300 per 200 cubic foot cylinder from a welding-gas or industrial-gas supplier, roughly $1.50 per cubic foot.
The fill column on the price list tells you how much each size needs. A 4.5-foot sphere takes 65 cubic feet. A 30-foot blimp takes 1,510, which is over seven cylinders for a single fill.
We list it rather than reselling it because you can buy it cheaper than we could ship it to you.
